After this occured Ratchet, Clank, and Alexa went on to fight evil, while Max went on to find Talwyn, Cronk, and Zephyr and live with them. After telling them this they went to the Great Clock to get Sigmund to create a time rift to prevent this from happening, so he did so, and Ratchet and the other Lombaxes went back before Alsiter's death and traveled to the new dimension of the Lombaxes, excluding Ratchet, Clank, Alexa, and Max.
He was originally a cleaner bot on planet Viceron, before being selected by Orvus to be Junior Caretaker of the Great Clock. Sigma 0426A, better known by his nickname Sigmund, is a support character in A Crack in Time, who Clank befriended while stuck on the Great Clock. He also told them about how Alsiter saved the Great Clock, and in the process been killed. Sigmund introduces himself to Clank, ACiT. Ratchet and General Azimuth encountered the Valkyries several times as they tried to prevent the two. When they found him, Ratchet told them about all of his accomplishments, such as defeating Tachyon. Nefarious to serve as his muscle in exchange for Nefarious using the Great Clock to go back in time to prevent the loss of Valkyrie world lost during the Erebus Supernova. They soon found out about Ratchet's existence and whereabouts, and went to seek him out.
The Lombaxes had appeared at the Great Clock, finding that Alister Azimuth had died.
The Lombaxes build another Dimensionator, and Ratchet finds out he has a sister, who had been taken care of by Max Apogee (who had used the original Dimensionator to find the Lombaxes and travel to their new dimension). Ratchet's sister's name is Alexa.
